Located 8 miles southeast of downtown Vero, this beach park offers everything you need. You'll find covered pavilions with grills, a playground and restrooms, among other amenities.
In 5.5 miles, the park entrance is on the right at the traffic light, directly across from Round Island Riverside Park. From the intersection of US 1 and SR 60 in Vero Beach, drive east a half mile to Indian River Blvd. Turn south and continue 0.4 mile to 17th St (CR 656) to cross the bridge and causeway over the Indian River Lagoon.

Soft sand (No, not as soft as Clearwater beach on the Gulf side but way better than the beaches up near Melbourne) 10 minute drive south from South beach park at Vero Beach. Shorter walking distance from parking lot to beach that South Beach park.
