Dick Pound. Richard William Duncan Pound CC OQ CD KC OLY (born March 22, 1942), better known as Dick Pound, is a Canadian swimming champion, lawyer, and spokesman for ethics in sport. He was the first president of the World Anti-Doping Agency and vice-president of the International Olympic Committee.
Dick Pound was a swimming finalist (sixth in the 100 metre freestyle) at the 1960 Olympic Games, who became President of the Canadian Olympic Association in 1977 and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) the following year.
