May 12, 2024 · Backlinie passed away on May 11th at the age of 77. A skilled swimmer, Susan easily found work as a “Mermaid” at the Weeki Wachie attraction in Florida in the mid-1960s. I remember my grandparents taking me there but it was after Susan had moved on to become an animal trainer.
