Twin Peaks is an American serial drama television series created by David Lynch and Mark Frost which spans 48 episodes over three seasons. The show's original run, which comprises two seasons and 30 episodes, premiered on April 8, 1990, on ABC in the United States and ended on June 10, 1991.

The series follows an investigation, headed by FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper ( Kyle MacLachlan) and local Sheriff Harry S. Truman ( Michael Ontkean ), into the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer ( Sheryl Lee) in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington.
Ben Horne's brother, Jerry, arrives in Twin Peaks; together they travel to One Eyed Jack's and meet with the madam, Blackie O'Reilly. Audrey leaves a clue for Cooper. Deputy Hawk finds a bloody towel near the crime scene.
There are a total of 48 episodes of Twin Peaks, counting the original ABC series (1990-91) and the Showtime limited event series (2017).
