Season Five is the fifth season of Gossip Girl, the American teen drama based upon the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar and developed for television by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The CW officially renewed the series for a fifth season with 24 episode on April 26, 2011 and it aired from September 26, 2011 to May 14, 2012. It was scheduled for Mondays at 8:00 PM.
Kaylee DeFer as Ivy Dickens was upgraded to series regular.
Notable Plots
•The season premiere (Yes, Then Zero) was set in Los Angeles, California, where Serena has a job on a film set.
