The Good Life (known as Good Neighbors in the United States) is a British sitcom, produced by BBC television. It ran from 4 April 1975 to 10 June 1978 on BBC 1 and was written by Bob Larbey and John Esmonde.

There were four series, each of seven episodes, and two specials.
Tom and Barbara's plans progress as the first of their plants begin to take root. Things look up when they befriend a junk man who sells them an old wood fired stove. Tom is forced to confront one of farming greatest challenges, how to stop birds eating their crop.
