Nov 9, 2017 · After Pastor Jeff argues that many famous scientists believed in God, he sends Sheldon on his way. Sheldon vows to come back the next week to destroy Pastor Jeff. Meanwhile, back home, George Sr. answers the door to find Billy Sparks who hands him a basket of eggs for Missy.
Sheldon : [v.o] But I wasn't a good sport. At that moment, I vowed to come back the following Sunday and destroy Pastor Jeff. Sheldon : [Sheldon and Meemaw are playing poker] I bet a nickel. Meemaw : Hang on there a minute, moon pie. I want to teach you somethin'.
Much later in the episode Sheldon does try to connect with god, to help save his beloved father, George. George gets rushed into hospital with an unknown problem - well one that we don't become aware of.
