Aug 23, 2018 · Solution. #2. It's not going to hurt anything by installing the Intel graphic drivers. They should not interfere with the NVidia drivers, but to be safe, I'd install the Intel Drivers and then the NVidia drivers. Technically, as long as your On-board graphics are already working, you don't *NEED* to install the newer Intel drivers at all.

Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues."
I'd take out the nvidia card, try the ARC on its own (power draw will be lower and no risk of driver conflicts), if it's good enough, sell the 3060Ti. You don't state what CPU is in the PC, bear in mind that recent Intel and AMD ones with integrated graphics have AV1 codes support too (Intel 11th gen, AMD 7000 series) Reply.

Aug 25, 2019 · Intel Graphics are provided by the CPU as IGP, or Integrated Graphics. Nvidia graphics are external to the processor, and are often called Discrete Graphics. They will not "include" parts of each other. You have two completely isolated devices that will require their own drivers to function correctly. –

Sure it might take up to maybe 256MB of RAM for itself, but if 256MB is vital to your RAM capacity, then I don't think the computer has enough RAM for modern times.
