MeetMe really isn't a dating site unlike pof MeetMe barely has anything that's related to dating there's a swipe feature but that can be ignored and turned off and that's pretty much it unless you count the date box but pretty sure most people don't think anything more of that then just a fun thing to do.

If you’ve been sent a text that has a verification code for a Plenty of Fish account, it means someone has, hopefully accidentally, used your number to try and sign up for an account. Without the code you were texted, they won’t be able to register with your number.
POF allows basic users to upload up to 8 pictures, or 16 if you upgrade. But just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Stick with a range of 3 to 6 strong photos. It’s difficult to showcase all the facets of your personality with just 1 or 2 images, and almost impossible to look equally good in more than 7.
