Years active. 1981–present. Jan-Håkan " Ian " Haugland (born 13 August 1964) is a Norwegian-Swedish drummer in the Swedish rock band Europe. When he was eight months old, he and his family moved to the Stockholm suburb of Märsta, Sweden. He joined Europe in the summer of 1984, replacing Tony Reno.
Ian Haugland was born on 13 August 1964 in Norway. He is an actor and producer, known for Europe: Cherokee (1987), Europe: Open Your Heart (1988) and Europe: Prisoners in Paradise (1991). He has been married to Marita Isaksen since 1989. They have three children.
