From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Utah's 1st congressional district serves the northern area of Utah, including the cities of Ogden, Logan, Park City, Layton, Clearfield, and the northern half of the Great Salt Lake. It is the only district in the state which does not include a portion of Salt Lake County .
Utah is divided into 4 congressional districts, each represented by a member of the United States House of Representatives. After the 2010 Census, Utah gained one House seat, and a new map was approved by the state legislature and signed into law by Governor Gary Herbert.
