May 17, 2024 · The Rainbow Falls Trail located within the park is part of the 52 km Casque Isles Trail section of the Voyageur Trail that runs between the communities of Terrace Bay, Schreiber and Rossport. Camp at our Whitesand Lake location or along the rugged shore of Lake Superior at the Rossport Campground location.
Bucket List: Visit every Provincial Park in Ontario. There are two parks under Rainbow Falls and both have lots to offer. We first went to Whitesand Lake and did the Rainbow Falls trail. The falls are beautiful and the trail is easy as most of it is steps. We then drove to Rossport, just up the road, it is located on Lake Superior.

The park is managed by Parks Canada and there is the usual parking fee. There is limited parking available though the crowd is not heavy-at least on the day we visited. To view the falls, once has to climb down 182 steps-they are wooden and there are some rest places on the way down and up.
