Shkodër (/ ˈ ʃ k oʊ d ər / SHKOH-dər, Albanian: [ˈʃkɔdəɾ]; Albanian definite form: Shkodra), historically known as Scodra or Scutari, is the fifth-most-populous city of the Republic of Albania and the seat of Shkodër County and Shkodër Municipality.
