Garrapata Beach at Garrapata State Park is located along the northern Big Sur coastline about ten miles south of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The waterfront of the park is four miles long, but the only sandy beach is at the south end. This is a gorgeous spot with the mountains coming right down to the beach.
