Jess Mariano is a principal character on Gilmore Girls, portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia. Jess is the troubled love-interest of Rory Gilmore, son of Liz Danes and Jimmy Mariano, and nephew of Luke Danes.
- Season 4 episode 12: “A Family Matter” Jess first returns after season 3 in the middle of season 4. His return trip to Star Hollow involves getting his car back and coincides with his estranged mother landing in town, too.
