In case you will drive from Lake Louise, follow Highway 1 and turn onto Yoho Valley Road just before reaching Field township. The journey is about 38 kilometers long and should take you about 40 minutes.
The falls, in the northern half of Yoho park, drop 833 ft -- making it one of the highest waterfalls in Canada. The falls are spectacular in early summer, when melting snow and ice provide ample runoff.
