Hoover: Prior to Operation Bass, I was VP of marketing and sales at Ranger, and I was with Ranger for 25 years. When Irwin Jacobs purchased Operation Bass, I moved over from Ranger to be the president and CEO of Operation Bass. We started out with a few goals, and the primary ones were to help grow the sport and increase its visibility.
