Avery A. Skinner (born April 25, 1999) is an American professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for the United States women's national volleyball team and Italian Series A1 professional team Chieri.

Trained with the 2018 U.S. Collegiate National Team. Has played internationally in France and Italy. Graduated from Kentucky in 2021, then played as a graduate student at Baylor. Played club volleyball for Houston Skyline.

Jun 5, 2024 · Avery Skinner, a Kentucky Volleyball alumna, was selected Wednesday evening to the 2024 United States Olympic volleyball team, USA Volleyball announced. She becomes the first ever Kentucky Volleyball player to complete in an Olympic games.
Just two years on from making her USA debut, an Olympic curtain call is on the horizon for Avery Skinner who plays in Italy for Chieri. The outside hitter has not looked back since her impressive showing at the 2022 Pan Am Volleyball Cup, where she was named one of the best in her position, and best scorer.
