Bahia Honda State Park is a clean relaxing beach experience. We had six adults and a teen and the car fee was $11.50. You can pay your entry fee by credit card, or cash. However, due to COVID if you pay in cash, any change due will be considered as a donation to the park.
The island is virtually uninhabited, being home to the 524-acre (212-hectare) Bahia Honda State Park. [1] [2] Founded in 1961, the park occupies most of the island. [2] The channel at the island's west end is one of the deepest natural channels in the Florida Keys.

$4 Per Person to get into this state park which holds 3 beaches, plenty of car parking, visitor center, eateries, hiking trails and a marina. The beach is kept natural to keep the ecosystem and the habitats safe; this means kelp, garbage and Man-o-Wars litter the beach.

Bahia Honda State Park offers three beaches. Sunbathing, swimming and sandcastle building are favorite activities. Loggerhead Beach faces the Atlantic Ocean. The water is shallow. Calusa Beach faces the Florida Bay. This beach features two covered pavilions for picnicking.
