  3. The reason for that is because Breaking Benjamin seems diverse in their song writing, at first. After repeated listens however every song eventually begins to seem exactly the same. The ballad “Rain” is one of the songs that attempt to change that, but doesn’t work well since it’s the last track of the record.

  5. Aug 24, 2016 · Full Review. 5y. 50. AllMusic. We Are Not Alone has its moments of genre-aping filler, and Burnley's delivery does at times seem forced -- he just sounds so much like his peers. But We Are Not Alone is still a solid second effort, with plenty of appeal for fans of groups like Crossfade, Default, and Smile Empty Soul. Full Review.

  6. Jan 25, 2023 · EDIT: it's my 2nd least favorite album from them (after Saturate), HOWEVER, it has some of my favorite songs from them period, Simple Design for example. It's really damn good, just not my favorite. I originally didn't like Firefly, but it grew on me too. Okay, so I wasn't really expecting this album, in particular, to be good.

Three singles were released from the album, "So Cold", "Sooner or Later", and the full-band version of "Rain". The album name is a reference to a James Hilton novel of the same name.
