The reason for that is because Breaking Benjamin seems diverse in their song writing, at first. After repeated listens however every song eventually begins to seem exactly the same. The ballad “Rain” is one of the songs that attempt to change that, but doesn’t work well since it’s the last track of the record.

But We Are Not Alone is still a solid second effort, with plenty of appeal for fans of groups like Crossfade, Default, and Smile Empty Soul. Full Review.

Jan 25, 2023 · EDIT: it's my 2nd least favorite album from them (after Saturate), HOWEVER, it has some of my favorite songs from them period, Simple Design for example. It's really damn good, just not my favorite. I originally didn't like Firefly, but it grew on me too. Okay, so I wasn't really expecting this album, in particular, to be good.
