The church of San Giovanni Battista rises in the upper part of the village, preceded by a vast paved square, with the northern part of the building leaning against the hill.
At the top there is the parish church of San Giovanni Battista, built in 1340 by the Bishop of Luni. In 1870 the facade was threatening to collapse and was rebuilt in Gothic style.
