Bonar Stewart Bain (February 4, 1923 – February 18, 2005) was a Canadian actor and the identical twin brother of actor Conrad Bain.
Bain had two sons and a daughter with Monica Sloan (1923–2009), to whom he wed in 1945; they remained married until her death in 2009. Bain's identical twin brother was actor Bonar Bain (1923–2005), [6] who once played Arnold Harmon, the twin brother of Conrad's Maude character, Arthur Harmon.

Bonar Bain was born on 4 February 1923 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He was an actor, known for Draw! (1984), Powder Heads (1980) and Running Brave (1983). He was married to Vella Elanor. He died on 18 February 2005 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
His identical twin, Bonar Bain, once played a fictional "evil" twin to Conrad ("Hank Bain") in the SCTV Network (1981) episode, Zontar (1981), and played his brother, Arnold Harmon, in the Maude (1972) episode, Vivian's Surprise (1977). Bonar went on to play a couple of roles in films on his own.
Moving to a Livermore California retirement home in 2008, wife Monica died a year later. Bain passed away there quietly of natural causes on January 14, 2013, less than a month short of his 90th birthday. His twin brother Bonar died in 2005.
