Season 5 of Damages premiered on July 11, 2012 on DirecTV's Audience Network. It is the final season. After years of professional and personal manipulation and deceit comes the final showdown between Patty Hewes and Ellen Parsons.
In the final season of Damages, Patty (Glenn Close) and Ellen (Rose Byrne) are pitted against one another in two separate cases. The first involves a wrongful-death suit brought against Channing McClaren (Ryan Phillippe), the founder of a whistleblowing web site, who's implicated in the death of a trader (Jenna Elfman) for an investment firm.
