Assemblymember David Alvarez was elected to the California State Assembly in June of 2022 to represent the 80th Assembly District.
Assemblymember Alvarez is the current representative of the 80th district that includes the San Diego Communities of Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, Sherman Heights, City Heights, Azalea Park, Otay Mesa, and San Ysidro, as well as the cities of Chula Vista, National City, and Bonita.
