(12) Number our days. —This verse as it stands literally gives to allot, or in allotting (see Isaiah 65:12), our days, so teach, and we will cause to come the heart wisdom.
But our mindset should not be focussed on this world, but on our heavenly home, occupying until He returns and living for His glory. May the Lord teach each one of us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts, by faith in Christ Jesus, our Saviour.
