Please visit the Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance (PATCH) website. The department will request the results of the PATCH from the provider and any person with a 5 percent or greater ownership interest in the provider.
There are two methods of requesting a Pennsylvania Criminal record: Online Request. The Pennsylvania State Police have established a web-based computer application called "Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History (PATCH)". Results are often received immediately when applied for online.
Criminal history background checks for individuals are available at the PATCH site or download form SP 4-164, print the completed form, and mail it. An individual background check is $22 and can be notarized for an additional $5.
