The wendigos in 76 are a little interesting to me, but I found out that part of their legend in real life is that they have the capability to mimic human voices to lure in their prey, and the voice will sound slightly off from an actual human.
There are a lot of sources saying wendigo can mimic voices to hunt humans more effectively but I think this might be a white addition much like the antlers, especially since it's kind of a trope. Does anybody have authentic sources on the wendigo which confirm or deny voice mimicry as a trait?
