Dec 19, 2016 · Emerald Bay State Park (Eagle Point Campground) has 97 campsites and overlooks Emerald Bay and beautiful Lake Tahoe. The campground has two loops – Upper Eagle Point (campsites 1-33) and Lower Eagle Point (campsites 34-100).
Located along Lake Tahoe’s west shore, Emerald Bay State Park offers spectacular views of the blue-green water and features many activities such as camping, hiking, boating and swimming.
Jun 13, 2020 · Eagle Point Campground is the king of Emerald Bay camping as it happens to be both the largest and the only standard campground in the state park. Between the upper and lower loop, you’ll find 97 total campsites. Only 52 of them can accommodate a trailer or small RV, while the others are reserved for humble ol’ tent camping.
The Boat Camp is on the north side of Emerald Bay, about 1/2 mile east of Fannette Island located in the bay, at the site of the old Emerald Bay Resort. Checkout time is 12 noon. Please vacate your site by that time.

May 19, 2021 · Emerald Bay Boat Camp: At Emerald Bay Boat Camp, camping takes place on land in one of 22 lakefront tent sites. Buoys and a dock are available for mooring boats, kayaks, and paddleboards; restrooms and water are offered on-site; dogs are permitted in the campground area only.
Emerald Bay offers a panoramic view of the lake from Eagle Falls. Hikers can head into nearby Desolation Wilderness or walk the rugged lakeshore to D.L. Bliss along the Rubicon Trail. Emerald Bay is known for it’s glittering green, turquoise and indigo waters lap and white sand beaches.
