Sep 2, 2015 · The Festival, originally developed by EYA in concert with the community to promote the Hyattsville area and the Arts District Hyattsville townhomes and shoppes, now builds upon downtown’s restaurant cluster for a day of publicity, heightened awareness, and new customers.
The former car dealership was renovated and repurposed in 2007 as part of the EYA development of the community. It now serves as the Arts District Hyattsville community center. The glass enclosed facility has a number of uses and hosts several events - private and community - throughout the year.
Live concerts and performances are featured throughout the summer in beautiful historic venues such as Hoover Auditorium and Orchestra Hall or outdoors at the Steele Memorial Bandstand and waterfront Pavilion.
