Green Dot Public Schools operates 6 middle schools (serving grades 6-8) and 12 high schools (9-12) across the greater Los Angeles area. Our newest school, Ánimo Compton Charter School, is a span school, which serves grades 6-12.
Green Dot Public Schools California (GDPSC) believes that best grading practices, supported by current research, consistent across grade levels, content areas and schools, will support our students in achieving equitable academic outcomes.
Enrollment. Green Dot shall immediately admit/enroll the student for which the Green Dot school is a School of Origin. “School of Origin” means the school that the child or youth attended when permanently housed or the school in which the child or youth was last enrolled.
Cristina is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Green Dot Public Schools California, a non-profit network of public charter schools. Cristina joined Green Dot in 2002 as the founding principal of Ánimo Inglewood Charter High School, one of the highest performing public schools in the state.
