One thing that makes finding books at the right level especially difficult is that schools rely on a variety of systems to decide what reading level to assign to a particular book, and to a particular student. The main systems are: Lexile: uses a range that starts with BR (Beginning Reader) and then goes from 1 - 2000.
The books in the Oxford Reading Tree are graded across 20 levels to support your child from first starting to read in Reception to being a fluent reader in Year 6. These levels are matched to the general Book Bands colours.
Classic Story Readers Level 5 link with B1 in the CEFR levels, and Preliminary in the Cambridge Exams. At launch, Level 5 consists of five titles: The Blue Diamond, The Prince and the Pauper, Pygmalion, Daddy-Long-Legs, and Around the World in 80 Days.
