Front wheel is convertible from QR to thru axle with the included adapters. Rear wheel convertible from QR to bolt-on ($80 upgrade kit from Easton). Sealed bearings are crazy smooth and have lasted me over two years with daily use - they're also easy to service which is a major plus.
