The POF iPhone app offers you the option to use your current location instead of your zip or postal code. To turn this feature on or off, follow these instructions: On your iPhone (not in the app) go to SETTINGS. Go to LOCATION SERVICES. In the list of apps, select POF. There, turn location services to on or off.
The basic search option is pretty easy to find inside the app. You can use it to look for whoever you want via username, location, education, and many of the other search features that were previously available to everyone. You can filter results according to age, workplace, zip code, and location.
In the list of apps, select Plenty of Fish. There, turn the "Alerts" on or off. From any page in the app, tap the menu icon on the top right corner of the page (three vertical dots) or your device's menu button. Click SETTINGS. Under Notification Settings, turn the push notifications and alerts on or off. You can also update the alert type.
