Howarth Park is a gem in Everett that's tucked away in a mid-century neighborhood. Easiest access is to head west (towards the water) on Olympic View road from Mukilteo Parkway, following the road as it winds through the neighborhood and down into the park, and then turning right into the larger parking lot at the bottom of the hill.

The way to Howarth Park is over a wooden bridge that crosses the railroad tracks. The bridge was closed in May 2015 and may not be open again until summer 2016. When access is open you'll find a beach with shallow surf right on Puget Sound. Ideal for wading in summer.
