    Jeremy Silberston (1 April 1950 – 9 March 2006) was an English film director who directed 9 episodes of the popular British crime drama Midsomer Murders between 1997 and 2003, including the show's pilot episode: "The Killings at Badger's Drift". He died of a brain tumour after seven months of illness in 2006, aged 55. 

    In addition to Midsomer Murders, Silberston also directed episodes of shows such as EastEnders, Casualty, The Bill and Foyle's War.
