I have been eating Andy Capps Hot Fries since I was about 4 years old (2004) and I want to say up until around 2016 the taste was always delicious and the same where since that time it's been inconsistent.

Not true, Andy Capp's hot fries still exist. I got a bag today, the post was asking if anyone noticed a change of spice level. I used to prefer them to Chester's hot fries actually.
