Kirstie feels that the Pure team were able to make entertaining television while highlighting serious mental health issues and achieving that balance was a great accomplishment for them all. She’s now lead writer on comedy drama Sweetpea for Sky Atlantic and will serve as an executive producer.
Sweetpea is an upcoming dark comedy drama television series for Sky Atlantic. It is an adaptation by Kirstie Swain of the book of the same name by CJ Skuse (2017) and stars Ella Purnell .
