Short Description. I am a Jungian Analyst (ISAP/AGAP/IAAP)*, deep ecologist and award-winning author, with private practices in Zürich, Bern, online and outdoors. I was instrumental in moving AGAP and ISAP towards carbon neutrality, and in AGAP’s attempt to get the IAAP to do likewise.
Linda Buzzell-Saltzman is the founder of the International Association for Ecotherapy and the editor of the IAE monthly e-newsletter. The association brings together therapists, academics, students and clients who are interested in the field of applied ecopsychology and healing the human-nature relationship.
- Environment/habitat. Unsustainable: Polluted habitat for people, animals, plants, fish. Sustainable: Safe, pesticide-free living space and ecosystems throughout our watershed area and local ocean.
- Food. Unsustainable: Factory farming, products trucked or flown in from afar. Animals treated cruelly. Sustainable: Healthy organic food from local farms, backyards or community gardens.
- Water. Unsustainable: wasting water, polluting water sources. Sustainable: frugal use, water collection and non-toxic recycling of scarce water. Local Action we could take: watershed and creek clean-up and protection.
- Air. Unsustainable: continued air pollution from vehicles, other sources. Sustainable: high air quality standards. Local Action we could take: more support for bicycle travel, commuter trains.
She is creator of the groundbreaking Professional Ecotherapy Training and Certification Program, now entering its fourth year. She facilitates workshops locally and internationally, including Online Ecotherapy Certificate Programs, Ecotherapy Immersion Programs and consultation groups.
