Mark Daniel Bailey (born November 21, 1968) is an American writer, best known for his documentary films, including Last Days in Vietnam (2014), Downfall: The Case Against Boeing (2022), and The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari (2022).
Mark Bailey writes screenplays, documentaries, and books. Bailey recently finished the documentary feature Last Days in Vietnam for PBS/American Experience. His newest book, Of All The Gin Joints: Stumbling Through Hollywood History, was published by Algonquin Books in October, 2014.

Mark Bailey is an author and Emmy-nominated screenwriter. His previous books include American Hollow, Hemingway & Bailey's Bartending Guide to Great American Writers, Of All the Gin Joints, and the children's book Tiny Pie. His films have appeared on HBO, PBS, National Geographic, and Lifetime.
