Led by a scholar of Black contemporary art with a focus on material culture, the tour cost is $310 for up to ten people, with a charge of $31 for each additional participant. All private tours are booked on request, depending on availability. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
The new location at 2 Columbus Circle, with more than 54,000 square feet (5,000 m 2), more than tripled the size of the museum's former space. It includes four floors of exhibition galleries for works by established and emerging artists; a 150-seat auditorium in which the museum plans to feature lectures, films, and performances; and a restaurant.

May 4, 2022 · The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) at Columbus Circle is dedicated to contemporary crafts and design. The museum shop is fantastic and offers a range of items centered around design. Be sure to drop in at the café for a break and enjoy the fabulous view of Central Park.
