GreenLegoCats, probably the best no commentary I seen. He reports on Roblox news, drama, events, etc within the community and he is very popular, but he fills a niche within a space that doesn't have one.
Using your focus of just gameplay, a no commentary approach may be better if you show a high degree of skill. However, consider editing your footage to highlight key moments. If there's a lot of "dead air" (no action, you're getting lost, etc.) it will impact your video's performance.
