Who would have ever thought that a Louisiana state park could be so interesting, so clean and so inviting. I was blown away. Nestled along the banks of the Vermillion River, the park is lush and green and full of birds and wildlife. There are walking trails, canoes for rent, picnic tables and clean, very clean, bathrooms in several locations.
