Pedernales Falls State Park (/ ˌ p ɜːr d ə ˈ n æ l ɪ s / PUR-də-NAL-iss) is a 5,212-acre state park situated along the banks of the Pedernales River in Blanco County, Texas in the United States.
May 25, 2021 · Just an hour outside of Austin, Pedernales Falls State Park offers a fantastic look at the best of the Texas Hill Country scenery: a crystal-clear river, limestone rock formations, a series of beautiful waterfalls and pools, lush greenery, and old-growth cypress trees that tower over all.
Overnight customers with reservations who may be arriving after 5pm must call the office at 830-868-7304 before 5pm on the day of their scheduled arrival to get the gate code. Gates currently close at 10pm and reopen at 8am. After hours campsite assignments will be posted at headquarters.

Pedernales Falls State Park is situated one hour outside of Austin, in the core of Texas Hill Country. It’s famous for 300 million year old limestone ledges comprising of pockets of water and small waterfalls. The park has an assortment of hiking trails and spots to swim or tube.
