Amigo and Friends. Add Show to Watchlist. In 1982, Hanna-Barbera produced a new version of the cartoon series, Cantinflas y Sus Amigos, titled in English-speaking countries as "Amigo and Friends". Cantinflas himself reprised his role in Spanish, while Don Messick voiced the character in English, with Cantinflas' character renamed as "Amigo".
Reggie & Friends became a multifaceted project with Studio Gilay producing the titles & logo, the scripts, and executing 19 episodes & 12 music videos (that’s almost 50 mins of animated content) for release on the Reading Eggs app, website and YouTube channel.
The show, which concentrates on a wide range of subjects intended to educate children, follows Amigo, a little comical character from Mexico, who goes on educational adventures through time and space and gets to visit Shakespeare, see the ancient pyramids, and even travels to other planets.
