The Virginian on a rare trip to visit a friend Jingo in a remote valley when he finds a woman unconscious. At Jingo's cabin she recovers from a fear induced catatonic state but with amnesia but thinks The Virginian is her lover. The Viriginian finds a woman unconscious on a remote mountain trail on the way to visit his friend Jingo.
"The Drifter" when he had been at Shiloh for 7 years. We find out Shiloh was named after a battle in the war between the states. The Virginian also mentions this to Senor Cueliar in episode 1.04 [004] "The Big Deal" stating no one had won the war. A salt away means to save, store up. I believe it is used here as a preserve for forest animals.
