Jul 22, 2024 · BALTIMORE — Charging documents provide a small timeline of what led to the shooting death of 12-year-old Breaunna Cormley. Her alleged killer, Omar Passmore, was arrested and charged over the weekend. Detectives learned Passmore and Breaunna 's mother share a child together.
Passmore arrived at some point, police claim, then shot and killed Cormley for an “unknown reason.” Passmore shares a child with Cormley’s mother, according to charging documents. Last year, a Baltimore judge granted Cormley’s mother a final protection from domestic violence order against Passmore.
Passmore was shot and killed in November 2014. He had been sitting in a truck outside of a crowded house party on Vicksburg Drive. In the two years since, there have been no arrests, no trials, and no closure for Carter and her family.
