The Swami is a Legendary Wizard Hat in Diablo III. It requires character level 27 to drop.
This is the only Legendary Wizard Hat to have a guaranteed bonus to Arcane Power on critical hits. The unique affix is generally useful in prolonged battles and boss fights, as under normal conditions, most or all enemies are dead by the time Archon expires. It might also be of some use in Greater Rifts, as it allows performing better while the skill is on cooldown, and gather stacks of Wave of Destruction easier.
When coupled with Vyr's Amazing Arcana Set, it allows kill stacks to grant not only damage, but also resistance, armor and attack speed after Archon form expires. With 6-piece set bonus, it also retains damage reduction, as well as empowered damage bonus.
Interestingly, if the Wizard manages to enter Archon form anew before the old kill stacks expire (by using Channeling Pylon, Empowered Shrine or Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac, for example), there will be two independent buffs and two sets of independent kill stacks with separate duration. Both buffs will stack additively to each other.
