  1. Bahia Honda State Park is a clean relaxing beach experience. We had six adults and a teen and the car fee was $11.50. You can pay your entry fee by credit card, or cash. However, due to COVID if you pay in cash, any change due will be considered as a donation to the park.

  4. One is sandy with a roped swimming area. Others are mostly gravel, but have a shallow swim area. The park is beautiful- full of wildlife and fish swimming by you in the water. There is a shop that rents kayak and umbrellas as well selling food such as hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream.

  5. Bahia Hondo State Park: About 40 minute drive from Key West. A fee to enter but worth it. Small beaches but we were there to kayak. Can rent kayaks right there. Can also rent snorkel equipment which we did as this was touted as a great place to snorkel.
