The original cut is much better than Redux. Redux doesn't add anything worthwhile to the film besides unnecessary shots of tits. The added scenes also throw off the pacing, and one particular scene at a mansion completely ruins the atmosphere.

In the last month, I watch all three versions of Apocalypse Now (theatrical, redux and final) for the first time, having seen other advice on Reddit that all of them are worth watching in order of release as they are fundamentally different films. Here are my thoughts on the three cuts:
