Just a month later in September of 2009, after a 10 month process, the Vine Cinema got its beer and wine license – at the time, a very difficult feat for a movie theatre in California. The “Alehouse” was then added to the name to show that beer, wine and food was now available at our movie theatre.

People come for the amazing food, beer & wine selections all delivered to your table or couch inside the theatre. More people enjoy the independent films, live sporting events and classic films so much more quality content than the normal movie house.

Great theatre. Good selection of quality movies and you're not fighting the crowds. Comfortable seating and you can get a wine or beer and order food from the adjacent restaurant. Great place for a date night.

They also have a reasonably great beer and wine list - so you can enjoy during the movie. The food menu is good - not just the usual movie stuff. We enjoyed sitting on their comfortable small couches (great for a romantic date to the movies) and enjoyed some drinks and pizza during our movie.
